Generic modern FPS games all get their own midnight releases, but Zelda, which really is one of the most important game franchies having inspired pretty much ever adventure game ever, doesn’t. Ridiculous. Want to shoot some foreigners at 1am? Great, you have half a dozen chances! Want to explore a beautiful fantasy world filled to the brim with mysteries? Wait til the morning. Also, Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX, X, XII and Kingdom Hearts I and II didn’t get midnight releases and they’re the best games in the world, so…..
